Bad Breath is ruining my social life
Bad Breath Sucks!
Ok, I want to be close to my friends but I am afraid that my breath is offensive. People sometimes turn their heads away when I get too close. No one wants to tell me or upset me but I know they are disgusted with my bad breath. Well, I have seen my dentist, he says I need to have some cavities filled and that my gums are a mess. So yes I made several appointments to get things done with him and now my breath has improved. His advice was to regularly brush, floss and scrape my tongue clean. Please don’t let me gross you out, but cleaning my tongue, a very private matter, is truly one of the most important hygiene things I do to keep my breath neutral and fresh.
In the past I would try breath mints and alcohol based mouth rinses that did no more than add a minty smell to my disgusting bad breath stench. The readily available alcohol based rinses only dried out my mouth and let the odor producing bacteria grow wild in my mouth. My dentist told me that the very back of my tongue, the hardest area for me to clean is where most of the foulest odor producing bacteria thrive. It makes me gag a bit but I now make extra effort to clean those hard to reach areas on the back of my tongue. The result is very noticeable according to friends and family.
So I was improving my health and my breath. Then my dentist told me about alcohol free mouth rinses with chlorine dioxide. His favorite was Closys. These rinses help to neutralize the odor causing bacteria and oh man, they really work great!
My family is so happy. They don’t turn their heads when I lean in to be close, this makes me very happy. With some effort, I can enjoy the secret benefits of fresh breath success.
